Explore the art of dance creation! Taught and advised by renowned choreography professor Fred Mathews, students will learn choreographic concepts during the first half of the workshop and will create their own solo piece on themselves or a peer to be shown in a culminating performance in our in house showing space. This introduction to choreography will allow students to create in an encouraging and supportive environment.
Recommended for Intermediate and Advanced dancers ages 14-22 and Ballet San Jose School students in levels 5A and up. This class will be a required part of the trainee curriculum. 2 minutes of dancing, in the style of your choice.
